I would give this gift to my hubby. He has competed in a bbq cook-off for the last three years given by friends, and is at a huge disadvantage because of lack of supplies. But, he has also placed because of perserverance! Just want him to have something fun to work with!

I met Shane Draper in Jeffersonville, IN last June after judging BBQ and received a bottle of DBQ sauce and rub to take home. I love trying new rubs and sauces! Back at home the AP rub disappeared quickly enjoyed by many atop pork butts for a party we threw. The Smokin’ Sauce, after a short stint on the pantry shelf, quickly became a “top floor” sauce in our house as most of the open sauces on hand are stored in the basement fridge. At last check the bottle is almost empty and we need to stock up!
I’d leave Santa a big plate of ribs if I won this.
I’d use the rub and sauce for my smoked Christmas turkey !
